Which types of stacking racks are available and what can they be used for?

Europallet format TÜV stacking rack

These mobile stacking racks can be used as mobile racking. They are available in different versions, but above all they are flexible in height due to the use of stanchions. The racks have standard dimensions, making them suitable for storing and transporting Euro pallets. The stacking racks are available in several options, making it possible to store one to more than three pallets on a rack. These are the types 87803, 87304, 87305.

Euro pallet racks are suitable for use as flexible storage racks, they are easy to nest when not in use. This can save up to 70% of warehouse space.

There are numerous options in terms of size, finish and usage options within the range of mobile stacking racks. This means you will always find a stacking rack that suits you. Do you work with ISO, NEN or EN standards? Then choose a TÜV certified stacking rack to ensure you comply with legal standards. 

Fixed construction stacking rack

Are you looking for sturdiness and ease of use? Then fixed construction stacking racks may be the ideal solution. These racks do not require any additional accessories and are easily stackable thanks to the stacking lugs on the four corners. These stacking racks are a handy addition for both indoors and outdoors.

Big Bag rack

Do you want to store raw materials, waste or goods in a form-retaining big bag? These racks make the storage of these materials even easier and safer. The lower and upper parts of the big bag racks are suitable for the fitting of stanchions, which means you can determine the height of the racks yourself. Kruisinga’s big bag racks are characterised by their high load-bearing capacity, sturdy construction, exit for moving with a forklift truck, and the stacking lugs.

Which accessories do you need for your stacking rack?

Efficient use of stacking racks

Do you want to make efficient use of your stacking racks? No problem. There are a number of ways to do this; for example:

• - Maximum use of space: make sure the stacking racks are kept as close together as possible and that the stacks are kept as high as possible without affecting stability.
• - Weight distribution: Make sure the stacks are evenly distributed over the stacking racks to prevent damage or falling over.
• - Security: Carry out regular maintenance to extend product life and ensure safety. It is also important that the stacking racks are used in accordance with safety standards.
• - Labelling: Use tags or labels to identify the stacks. This will help make finding specific items quick and easy.

In addition, you can stack at different lengths thanks to the galvanised stanchions. Standard stanchion sizes are available in 990 mm, 1050 mm, 1200 mm, 1370 mm, 1680 mm and 2000 mm.

To determine the useful height (read: height to be loaded), take the total stanchion length minus 170 mm* (example: stanchion length 1680 mm – 170 mm = 1510 mm).

The advantage of stacking racks is that if they are not used in your warehouse, they can easily be nested together.

Stacking racks can be used for both internal and external use.

In addition, it is also possible to expand the stacking racks with a bottom plate, wheels, plug-in brackets or removable walls.
